Please read these terms and conditions carefully before ordering any goods from our website.
These are the terms and conditions of our agreement and apply to all purchases of goods by you from love baby boo via our web site. These terms and conditions may vary from time to time and you should check them again before making new purchases if you have purchased goods from this website in the past. The terms and conditions stated on this page govern all transactions, between us and you, effective on or after 2 November 2007 until superseded by revisions posted here. Any contract between us and you shall be governed by English law and all correspondence shall be conducted in the English language.
You should print a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference.
Your Status
By placing an order through our website you are confirming that;
  • you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract; and
  • you are at least 18 years old; and
  • you are a resident in the United Kingdom

    Please click on the button marked ‘I Agree’ at the end of these terms and conditions if you accept them. Please understand that if you do not accept these terms and conditions then you will not be able to order any goods from our website.

    How the Contract is made between us and the delivery

  • On receipt of your order, you will receive a confirmation email, showing the total cost of your order.
  • In stock items should be dispatched within 7 working days and the contract between us is only made when the goods have been dispatched to you.
  • We will contact you if there is any anticipated delay with the dispatch of your order.
  • When ordering items for delivery by the Courier, please advise us of any special delivery instructions.
  • When ordering heavy items please note delivery is to the door of the premises and not to a specified room.
  • Furniture is delivered flat packed unless otherwise stated
  • When ordering assembled furniture please check that access to your premises will accommodate delivery.
  • Items marked with * symbol are delivered to you directly from the manufacturer and may in some cases take longer. We will advise you when you place an order on any extended delivery times and any additional costs associated with delivery direct from the manufacturer.

    Whilst every care is taken to ensure the accuracy of any information on this website, prices and specifications are subject to change without notice. In the event that such changes occur we will advise you of this when confirming your order and offer you the option to withdraw your order or to select alternative goods. Prices quoted on confirmation of your order will be honoured regardless of subsequent price movement before dispatch. All prices are exclusive of VAT.
    We are under no obligation to provide the goods to you at an incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you an order confirmation email, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as a mis-pricing.
    Payment for all goods must be by credit or debit card. We accept [list] credit and debit cards. We will not charge your credit or debit card until availability of goods confirmed and dispatch in process.
    We aim to fulfil orders from stock within seven working days. However, some larger items notably furniture, may have a lead time from our suppliers of up to 8 weeks. This will vary with each individual item. Most items are held in stock by our suppliers ready for dispatch, whilst others will have a lead time. Please see the item description, or contact us for further details. In the event that we are unable to fulfil your order within the normal delivery period, we will contact you as soon as this is known and offer you the option to withdraw your order, or to select alternative goods. Should any goods become unavailable, then we will contact you as soon as this is known and in these circumstances we reserve the right to cancel your order and we will not be liable to you for this.

    Delivery Charges

    Our standard delivery charges, (UK Mainland), are as shown below. Charges are per order.

  • Order value up to £20.00, £3.50 delivery charge
  • Order value £20.01 to £100, £6.95 delivery charge
  • Order value £100.01 and above, free delivery

    Small/lightweight lower value items/orders up to approximately 1 kilo will be sent by first class post.
    All other orders will be sent by courier.
    All costs will be confirmed at the time of order.
    Exceptions Customers requiring delivery to some UK postcode areas may be subject to an additional delivery charge. We will agree any additional charges with you prior to processing your order.
    If necessary, Saturday delivery can be arranged but will be charged at cost (we will advise you of the charge on request).
    Shipping charges for room sets Any additional shipping charges for all room set items will be advised on receipt of your order, if appropriate.
    Overseas customers Unfortunately at this time we only ship to mainland UK.

    Dispatch of Part Orders
    We will at our discretion dispatch part orders to you even where there is an extended delivery date on part of your order.

    Non Delivery of Order
    Should you not receive your order within your expected timescale please contact us immediately because where there is f a non delivery exhaustive enquiries have to be made with our delivery agents, and it can take up to six weeks for the item to be replaced, or a refund given.

    Right to Cancel Your Order
    If you are buying from us as a consumer you have the right to cancel your order at anytime within seven working days beginning on the day after you receive the goods or before despatch if you wish. In this case you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the goods. This provision does not affect your statutory rights. Any amounts you have paid will be repaid to you in full, within 30 days of the date you have given us notice of your cancellation, but we reserve the right to withhold any credit/debit card and charges incurred by us. A restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price will be charged on any special orders placed on your behalf. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us.
    Any goods returned must be received by us unused and in its original saleable condition and in its original packaging. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the goods whilst they are in your possession. If you do not comply with this obligation then we may have a right of action against you for compensation. If you wish to exercise your right to cancel your order then please e-mail info@lovebabyboo.co.uk within the time limits referred to above.

    Inspections on Delivery and Faulty Goods

  • All goods must be inspected by you upon receipt and any damage in transit or shortages must be notified to us within 48 hours of receipt. No claims for damage in transit or shortages will be considered after this period.
  • Where goods have been damaged in transit, we will agree with you how to return the goods and offer you the choice of a replacement or refund at no extra cost to you. In circumstances where the packaging is clearly damaged on arrival, it would be helpful to us in resolving any problem if, when signing to accept delivery, you could write "Box damaged" on the delivery record.
  • Where goods are found to be faulty on receipt, we will agree with you how to return the goods we will examine the returned goods and will notify you of your refund via email within a reasonable period of time provided that we are satisfied that the goods were faulty on receipt. We will usually process the refund due to you as soon as possible and in any case within 30 days of the day we confirmed to you by email that you were entitled to a refund for the defective goods. Goods returned by you because of a defect will be refunded in full, including a refund of the delivery charges for sending the goods to you and the costs incurring you in returning the goods to us. We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method as originally used by you to pay for your purchase.
  • IMPORTANT we regret that we cannot offer refunds on mattresses, nappy products or assembled furniture, unless faulty.

    Our Liability
    We confirm to you that the goods purchased from us through our website are of satisfactory quality and reasonably fit for all the purposes for which goods of this kind are commonly supplied.
    Our liability for losses you suffer as a result of us breaking this agreement are strictly limited to the purchase price of the goods you purchased. However, this does not include or limit in anyway our liability
    a) for death or personal injury caused by our negligence ; b) under section 2(3) of the Consumer Protection Act 1987; c) for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; d) for any matter for which it would be illegal for us to exclude or attempt to exclude your liability

    We are not responsible for any indirect losses which happen as a side effect of your main loss or damage.
